Since then, we’ve built a team of employees, trade partners, and suppliers that allow us to help with any residential project. Lead Carpenter

Job description:

We are looking for a Lead Carpenter who has knowledge of a variety of residential construction trades. Candidate should be thorough, an excellent problem solver, and able to efficiently perform quality work. The ideal applicant should be assertive and able to guide and mentor team members.

 Responsibilities:

  • Determine materials, tools, and equipment needed based on project specifications.
  • Complete projects by performing work, delegating tasks, and ensuring company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Lead and supervise a team of carpenters in various construction projects.
  • Create project plans.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and quality.
  • Resolve problems as they arise.
  • Make decisions promptly and confidently.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service.
  • Accomplish 95+% customer review scores for assigned projects.

 Required Skills/Traits:

  • Proven (5+ years) of experience in residential remodeling.
  • Proven (1+ years) of experience in a leadership/management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching teammates/crew members.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.

 Requirements:

Drug-free, Valid Driver’s License, Clean MVR, Reference Verification, Criminal Background Check.
